Houjicha (Sansuien Tea Farm)
A very unique tea experience in this cup. I met this inspirational tea farmer on a recent trip to Shizouka Japan. Kiyomi san showed me how he small batch roasts this Hojicha in a clay pot over a charcoal fire. This process has been passed down though generations of tea farmers and shows true craft in tea making. After he makes this tea he let's it "rest" for months until it's ready for your tea pot. Limited quantities, a must try from our tea collection.
